There's been a few people on about VF stuff on the WW2 Dodge Forum. Josh has an excelllent deal going with a cab / chassis plus another chassis / drivetrain and a VC 1 cab / chassis going cheap. There was another post about a parts truck but I can't remember if it was on here or the WW2 Forum.

The only thing the all seem to be short of is the cargo body, but according to Dale the body is the same as the Chev 1.5 ton but with the fuel filler in a differnet locat1on, so you could transplant one of those (or more likely cut down a GMC 6 x 6 bed for the same job.

In addition to all the VF mentioned in the other posts, cargo, cargo with winch, dump, etc, don't forget that they made the same truck in 1939 as the TF-40x4, 339 off. The manual for the miltary TF ( D-8491 ) only covers the cab and chassis so it could either have a standard Budd body or maybe even an earlier wooden one ? It looks to be pretty much the same as a standard civilian TF except for a transfer case control that also engages and disengages the front axle.

Someone mentioned that DC had a TF in Medford but I'm not sure if that's the case.
