I installed a set of new Denman 9.00 x 16 NDT's on my '49 B1PW about 10 years ago and have had very good luck with them. I regularly haul 450 gallons of water (about 3800 lbs) in the back of my PW with no problems. I have never had a single flat in all this time. My spare Denman 9.00 x 16 has never been on the ground. My truck goes everywhere and I have even aired it down to about 15 psi to wheel on the Moab trails last year. The tires are basically identical in appearance to the original military NDT's and look real good on old PW's. They do have short comings on ice and you would have better traction and handling with a more modern tire design, but the NDT look is what I wanted. Good luck.
