It was me.
The stuff I used was Bodyline Semi-Structural Panel Mount, a UK product, which I only just discovered I can get in black too.
It completely fills all the voids to prevent further rust, and is actually designed to be coated on the mounting area of a metal panel before placing it.
Two other things;
if you have frameless glass sidewindows in the cab or body the same stuff is great for sticking the glass in place - it doesn't lever the sides of the rusty channel out like original rubber will when you have to hammer it in.
... and, the one thing not to use on any of this stuff is black windscreen sealant, as all the types I've tried don't actually cure fully, so there is no real strength / adhesion in them for these jobs.
