JDA,

WOW, what a bunch of questions!

Ok I will see if I can answer them all.

First,

Budd vs plain steel, that is my personal way of looking at them. Back in the 50's and 60's Budd made stamped steel wheels that were used on dodge trucks, these wheels are somewhat styled, but they are still tubeless.

Both of these trucks are 6 bolt, and of course the wheels on these will not fit an 8 bolt truck.

Here is a picture of what I call plain steel wheels:

They are the standard looking rims that all low end truck have come with for the last 20 years or more.

Again these are tubeless.

Now as for where to get 19'5s in an 8 bolt pattern, I know that some tire and wheel places can get them, and of course there is junkyards.

but if you have a WM300, you can't use any of the rims I talked about because you have a 5 bolt pattern rim.

Yes you can put bigger tires on(Gama Goat rims have been done, you just have the centers changed), in any way you see fit, bigger rims, or bigger tires on the stock 16"ers.

But just remember that any time you start making your tires bigger it is that much harder for that little old flat six to move you around.

That is enough for now, read this over and tell me what else you want to know.

Gotta run.

Eric
