Boy am I interested. Mine is like soda crackers.... lifted in layers about 1//2 inch tick. My plans are to remove and replace with a cut to fit 3/8 plate with grade 8 bolts..... recommended by trailer hitch installer...... and possibly box the frame with a 1/8 plate for greater strength. I do not intend to work it hard.... the odd trail run..... but I would hate to see it sage in the middle like and old horse.
