It's amazing how some repairs were made on these trucks.
Buy yourself a cobalt hacksaw blade and saw through the weld. I don't think it will be to deep in the hub and axle. Your probably going to be looking at broken studs in the hub that will need to be removed also. Hopefully the repair didn't include welding any studs, but you will know once you get through the exterior weld. A nasty little project!
