My 78 dodge has a stearing wheel that is sticking over the bench seat a ways. Is this normal? It used to be an automatic but they cut the shifter off and put a sitck throught the floor.. i was thinking of puting a new shifter and the 727 tanny back in but it seems the shifter will get in the way?
