if it were me i would do the best i could do with a torch or a grinder the holes in the hub probley striped out an it was easy to weld it rather than rethread them dont be suprised if the only thing that u save is the axle IF the holes are welded in once you have trimed all you can. work with a chissel between the axle an hub. i have seen this on bigger trucks before before you take my advice mabey someone else has a different way that might be better good luck.
