that may work out ok, if you dont do alot of winching. The warn winch draws a lot of amps out of the battery and it will run a battery down fairly quickly, especially with heavy loads -like your truck. I almost always run my engine to keep the battery charged when im winching with my light weight bronco. If you are going to do a lot of winching...you may want to set up an independent 1`2 volt system on your truck. I dont have any experience in this...but i have heard it can be done by adding a pully and running a belt to a 12 volt alternator with internal regulator. That way you can quickly charge your 12 volt battery as well as run any other 12 volt accessories...like a heater. eithor way, im sure you will enjoy using the winch.
