Transfer case seals - right up my alley. I have found is easiest to remove the case from the truck to do this. You can pry out the seals, which usually involves chiselling to collapse it. Or you can pick up a seal puller, I spent 32 dollars on one because I seem to be needing one a lot. I don't recommend using original-type leather seals. They seem to always leak. Go with a modern double-lip neoprene seal. The one I used was the National 410308, it is not as thick as the original. Therefore don't drive it all the way down to the seat, flush with the top edge is fine. If your yoke is grooved from wearing on an old dry leather seal, you can use this seal thickness difference to move the contact zone up or down on the yoke surface. If the yoke is badly scored you can sleeve it with a stainless Federal Mogul "National Redi-Sleeve" 99212. Good luck!
