There's a guy in Lucerne Ca. (God Forsaken place) who converts and sells bobbed 2 1/2 ton trucks. I drive by there on occasion and the trucks look pretty decent. He has one advertised for $7,500 which seems like a deal if you need/want a big truck, but I have never actually seen it, so I don't know.
He's been out there for quite awhile and has a number of trucks.
