unless they are hemmit rims or bolt together rims you are correct. the older lock ring style are not used as much any more. i gave away 10 that came from my 5 ton truck when i put 1400x 20 tires on it. if you scrap them you may have to take the tires off then pay to get rid of the tires.i gave mine away but let the air out first so know one got hurt dismounting them. you never know.mabey the junkyard will take them with the tires on them.
