Using the Tapered Roller bearing on the top will reduce steering loads. Its noticeable.
Also carefully check the bottom bearing and race. I have never opened a knuckle where the lower race was not worn badly. Badly enough you can feel it with your finger tip. Top and bottom bearings ar the same, easily available at NAPA. Follow my pictures and text and you should have no issues rebuilding the knuckle. Thanks gmharris for posting the link.
