Why do we bother putting blood, sweat, tears and lots of money into restoring our old rigs, when all it takes is some doodling with a magic marker by a dead rock star to add about $24,501 to the value of an old beater van?
I think the thing to do, if you have a yard full of old rigs that aren't going to be restored any time soon, is get any young guitar player you can find to scribble some stuff on the side of it, just in case he gets famous and dies. Could be worth a lot more than a belt pulley.
