And south of Phoenix is the Titan Missile Museum. You almost don't want to know what we were capable of doing in 58 seconds.
The underground missile launch facility is kept in perfect condition. It looks like the crew last walked out yesterday.
And, of course, there is the Davis-Monthan Air Force bone yard in Phoenix and the great aviation museum next door to the airbase.
For being a desert, there's sure a lot to see out that way.
