All the pics I've posted have a wide opening so they can slip over the tranny knob, but then need more lacing. Should I stick with that, or require knob removal? More work for you guys to remove knobs, but better seal.
A zip tie could be snipped off short, but would need to be replaced if work is done. Laces will be acting as tell-tales, so you can see which way the wind if blowing at floor level. And might come untied.
Any consensus here?
