fuel pump died three days ago, on the eve of the biggest car show of the year for around here, was going to fill it up so to go early the next morn, got about 100yds from the house, sputtered a couple of times and died. now I have changed the exaust manifold to some repop fenton headers, they are very close to the block and preclude the use of the manual pump. the electric pump I was using was one of the old tried and tru pumps that we've all seen since we were kids 2 1/2 inches round, about 5 inches long, ac ,carter auto pulse, and others made them. now, is there such a thing as a reliable external electric inline pump?? anyone have any experice with something that is trouble free?? and will last a while? as it's going I'll have to buy two and carry the tools to change it out the trail.
