nope. 46 till end of production in the early 70s the Power Wagon was always a 1 ton. the only changes was the bed, and guage arrangment, the tranny went synchro in 55 or so, and engine went from 230 to 251 in 61 I believe. the winches are the same but when they switched to the 251 engine the frame extensions got longer and the other brackets for mounting are different. for the most part nothing really changed enough to where it wont interchange. the axles, tcase, wheels, brakes all stayed the same.
the first civilian style power wagons came out in 57 and were available in 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ton versions. they used the regular truck body of the 2 wheel drives. comletely different animal. ther was a 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton series of trucks in WW2 called WCs. you will see them mentioned here frequently. they were never called power wagons when they weree built. the power wagon name dd not start until after the war in 46. the Power WAgon used the design of the WW2 WC 3/4 ton with minimal changes. mainly a hard cab, longer wheel base, 2 speed tCase, and chrome door handles for added style. ;/)
