Water pumps vary, but you may be able to adjust the flange with a press (shorter) or puller (longer)? Or a separate pump with a spacer to support the inner end of shaft, and a BFH ?

Other wise, is the crank pully on all the way?

There really is not any extra space between fan and a $1000 radiator. I shy away from spacers. But is there any space between wp pully and wp bolts?
