Pepe came down from San Jose to take some pics of the 62's
he has an m37 that he repowered with a cummins v6 with the 2.5 rockwell axles and the 5spd transmission from the 2.5's but kept the original np tc and power steering
he came down on his motorcylce but says he will come down soon in the m37
he also said there are some izuzu ps boxes that are almost a bolt up to the civy pw and I should take one of mine of and go to the bone yds. and see what i can come up with, he did say that the ps boxes are made by a us co.
he also said the latest fad or upgrade is to forget brakes in the wheels and there are kits to put a braking system on the drive line like the manual parking brake on our trucks except hydraulicly activated
however he said he did not like it as it would be hard on the ujs and diffs.
any of you heard about this and what would be your take
Pepe has got to car shops in San Jose, one does brakes and such and the other rebuilds motors and such
