Just returned from visiting Utah beach in Normandy. Same thoughts. My dad's cousins were killed in southern France. Two boys from Omaha transported to a strange land and killed. I wonder what their last thoughts and feelings were. They are both buried in an American military cemetery near Nice.
The French have not forgotten what we did.
