1/8 NPT on the left and flare on the right. This will adapt the fuel line to the fuel pump. I use teflon tape on the pipe threads and am careful not to tighten it too much. The fuel pump is easy to crack from over tightening.

This same fitting will also attach the fuel line to the carb if you have the ET1, ET2, or ET4, or to the Carter fuel filter mounted to the carb if you have an E7F1 or E7S1 carb. It will not act as a bypass if you do not have the filter.
