But if you want to paint into the stamped marks, white housepaint on black works well- wipe it on with a finger, and immediately wipe off the excess. It sure worked well on my gun safe knob.
Black paint on silver parts. Spay some paint on something disposable, then wipe it from there on your finger tip.
