i seriously doubt that there are many pws with matching hubs / brake drums after 50 years. reinstall & check tolerances. i had great brakes on my m37. adjusted close to perfect, stopped great. sitting caused the drums to rust and squeak and sitting caused the wcs to leak over time. i went disc brakes and haven't looked back. point is if you have stock brakes, use your truck to keep them exercised. they work fine if they are used.
