The only gas'er I own is a Dodge 251 in my Bombardier. It has a point ignition and runs great. I have a extra set of points, condenser and coil sitting on the shelf that cost short bucks. Electronic may have advantages on a high performance engine, but even then when it breaks, your all done.

I can change points if need be out in the bush and set the gap with a book of matches and get home just fine.
