So I was going through Craigslist today, and ran across a guy with a 1936 Dodge truck, that had a very heavy lift on it - he wanted to get rid of the lift, for free. By the time I called, he had sent if to scrap, where they paid him $89. I went to the scrap yard, and they will sell it back - for 25 cents per pound, or $520. I was thinking $200 would be fair, but they won't budge. So my question is, is it worth that to anyone here? I would hate to see it go to scrap if it is the last piece someone needs for a restoration. It weighs 2080 pounds, and was working this morning, until they torched off a drive shaft, and broke what seems to be a safety chain to prevent it going backwards too far. I will pick it up and store for free, if someone wants it. Sorry, I did not get measurements - it has two brass tags on it, for the manufacturer, which was from Detroit, and I believe was Wayne? I was in shock from the price - it is set aside until tomorrow at 10, then crushed. Link http://montana.craigslist.org/pts/3161736603.html Call if interested 406.580.3591 Thanks!
