I spend a lot of time hanging around the steel scrap yards here in SW Idaho and I would be surprised if he could actually get that much. Also, some of the scrap yards will put something like that aside and try to sell it out of the yard rather than scrap it. That seems to be happening less and less since steel prices went through the ceiling. Now it seems they want to take the easiest way out and just throw everything into the box car. I was at the one in Nampa two weeks ago and I was astounded at what they were cutting up. I picked up three antique plows, one of which had already been cut on. One of the Mexican workers was cutting up an antique car chassis with wooden wheels. He kind of motioned to me to see if I wanted it (he has seen me buy stuff before)I could tell he hated to cut it up. They had cut up wagon wheels, blacksmith vises all kinds of expensive antiques. But they don't care they just want to ship it and get paid. Even though they have plenty of room to set aside some of this stuff. Really irks me that so much greed ruins so much stuff.
