First step evac the R134 freon thats in there. New compressor, receiver dryer and orifice tube. You must make sure the compressor has the right amount of oil in it. After you get it apart if you find metal shavings it will need a condenser and the rest of the system flushed out with the right kind of solvent. If you cant do any of the steps find a shop for the work. You just can toss a compressor at it. Good Luck. Bill
