I've had crappy results with manufactured goods like winches & winch bumpers but these guys unfortunately aren't having quality work done for them & I suspect it's just the cost.
I mean I bought a Buckstop bumper at the same time Paul bought his only I went down & picked it up at the factory & so I saw the bumpers leaving for powder coat. I was disappointed to see that they weren't sand blasted first but the owner assured me the powder coater was going to blast them...not. When the coating started peeling on mine I could clearly see they hadn't been blasted. I called a few times & just got the run around & gave up but the bottom line is how can they afford to manufacture blast & coat these properly & still sell them at a competitive price when Warn & others are having theirs built in China & el cheapo coatings applied? People don't ask about the coatings...they just look at price & if it looks descent..they buy it.
I've seen quality done bumpers but they're like $3000 & nobody wants to pay for them so they have to cut corners.
I'm sure I can get you a replica of your Warn bumper made up & powder coated properly if you want to pay for it :)
