Hi guys, OT, but there is good advice here. I have a 99 Camry, 71K. I have used Mobil 1 since about 50K and my manual recommends a 7500mi change (light duty). I have gone 10K and the oil is still amber and only slightly dirty. Does not use any oil ever. I have seen recommendations to change anywhere from 3K to 15K, so do I go further or change. Got the oil today and I use a Wix filter. I think the 3K change in modern cars is obsolete.
I have see blogs of guys getting 13K and the oil still has some life after being tested.

Topical: in my 64 TWPW (Poly), I use Valvoline 10W-40. I use Prolong in the engine, 4 speed, and T-case.
I add Lead sub. (just in case), and Marvel Mystery Oil to the gas and sometimes some Rislone in the oil.

There are most of the filters for a Poly in my parts pdf:

Wix and Baldwin are the best according to the Power Wagon crowd.
I have over 1100 hits on this file.

I figure old tech for old, new tech for new.
