I had a 85 dodge 4x4 w/a 3" body lift, very hard on that little joint, 3 in less than a year. finally got mad one day and cut it off w/a wafer wheel and welded on another rag joint. the end of 3/4 turn of slack in the wheel to stay on the road. drove the truck another 5 yrs, no issues. Dave.
