My neighbor has a 1947 WFA-34 with a T-118 engine (237?) for sale and I'm thinking about getting it. It looks pretty complete with only some rust in the floor and a couple of small dents in a fender. It has nothing behind the cab. It has a very long frame and a 2 speed rear end that looks like it's air activated and huge leaf springs in the rear.
Engine is frozen, but everything is there in the engine compartment. It would be a pretty easy restoration, but I'd have to decide what to do about a bed... probably make a stake side bed on it.
I can get it by trading him a 1947 Ford pickup that's worth about $800. Sound good?
Where can I find more info on this truck? I did a search, but found very little.
