You should find a part number stamped into the top face of the case where the shift tower bolts on. These boxes are based on the Warner T9 design, only difference is the casting name - NP or T9. 2 other cases interchange, one without the pto door and the other with a door on each side. In the USA the NP seems the most common, but Canada and exports most seem to be T9's. Used in Dodge job rated trucks from late '38 to about '53.
