Mac,
The closest & best tire you can get for a W300 if you want the closest to original size & appearance is a 9.00 x 16 XZL.
Problem is they're very, very hard to find.
So, according to Garbee's Website, Michelin's "Replacement" size for the 9.00 x 16 is a 255/100r16...which is just as rare unless you can have a set sent over via helicopter or something from France.
Personally, I just bought a set of XZL 11.00 x 16's for my W300 & I think they look & ride great but they're definitely bigger than stock & still hard to get.
My 3rd choice & maybe even my second choice if I was you would be those 10.5 x 16 Chevron pattern tires from Wallace Wade by you...no? Not radials but they look kool :)
