The SF has bearing/oiling problems, they don't hold up any better than the NV 4500, but cost more to build when broke. They are decent if you can get one cheap enough. We had a contract for a local tow company here and seamed to rebuild them every two to four years. That is with a LOT of use, abuse, and miles though. If you can find a rebuilt one cheap enough I wouldn't shy away, it depends on what you are using it for.
