Yeah, that's what it measures out to. I was uneasy accepting that measurement. I kept thinking I was missing something, or not measuring the right places. Then it occoured to me that it's possible that the standard lengths of 6 or 8 feet may have been instuted later. I just might wind up making a flat bed. Where do we mount the spare on a flatbed?? Too heavy to put under the truck.
