I've got a neighbor who brings here 5yo son over for early exposure to working on stuff. And a 5 yo grand nephew will be visiting for a week next month. Some mommy's do see an advantage to getting the kids hands dirty. Those two have dads who are computer geek, but moms who are educated, but also wise. I hope to teach the kids that working with your hands is not a sin, just like being a brain surgeon.
