I am looking to replace the missing 'Max. Road Speed' data plate on my 1955 PW, 5.83 gears. Vintage Power Wagons lists two; an 'Early' and a 'Late' with 52 MPH and 58 MPH respectively. I just want confirmation that the 'Early' plate is the proper one. I can't imagine a PW rated for 58 MPH, unless possibly it's for the later 'conventional' truck models, not the FF's ....Even 52 is pushing it, IMO.
