This is probably too far off topic, but skimming that site it looks like what they have is an elaborate and far-fetched explanation for something that isn't happening.
There isn't any increase in earthquakes or lightning, let along any new kind of lightning happening. The writers combine pretty much every "bad" environmental thing that anybody's ever done or speculated about into one big stew and then claim that it's wrecking the entire earth. What's missing is any sort of actual data, such a plot of the power spectra of earthquakes each year for the past century, or some such.
But hey, if somebody wants to sell me his truck and his tools for $100 before he goes and hides out in his 2012 apocalypse bunker and waits for "arc lightning" or whatever to destroy the world, I'll buy them. I scored some good deals out of the Y2K non-disaster.
