I'm running a stock LA water pump, and 48' radiator, with a pusher fan between the grille and radiator. Distributor clearance is close, but I've run this setup on some reasonabley hardcore trails, and haven't had a problem. I could actually run a regular mechanical puller fan, but the RV-2 air compressor on top doesn't allow me enough room behind the waterpump flange for the pitch of the blades. Been running this setup for roughly four years.
