I agree with Chris & Dave it can be repaired
but finding someone who knows how may be an issue as these type of repairs are no longer
taught I had an engineering class 50+ years
ago and the instructor demonstrated the repair of a Model A ford engine block that had a cracked / broken bell housing. I do not
remember all the details but we built a forge
and heated the block (for a few days i think)
until the color was correct & then he brazed it back together.
If you have a Machinest Union lodge in your area you might contact them & see if there are any old timers close by that might be able to help you find someone who is still
working to fix it.
If the one you have is cracked chances are any used ones you find probably have the same issues
