If the front hangers are all the way back, I doubt you will compress it enough to attach. Even if it would attach, I dont think the spring would work right, shackle will be at wrong angle. Even if it did connect, a good compression woudl flip it the wrong way. My guess is they used probably the proper length, but then put to much arch in it and it got way to short. I am thinking a new spring/springs will be the result to fix.
