My son Andy (and my son Erik too!) are both instructors at Camp Ashland in NE. Both teach was was in my day - PLDC, now called WLC, the Amry's first leadership course for folks making their way up the ranks. Andy sent me an e-mail a couple of hours ago - "Little history lesson with my students this morning because not one in
the 20 knew what today was."
And these are young soldiers about to become NCO's. Sooooo sad.
