If I may chime in here. I have a 64 Town Wagon with a poly 318 and wouldn't trade it for a 360. I have headers I built myself and tried the Weiand manifold with an Edelbrock 4 barrel. This manifold is for higher rpm's and isn't suited for my TW where I want low rpm torque. I went back to the stock two barrel and can chirp the tires in 3rd gear. To put a 360 in your 58 will require building your own motor mounts unless someone else has to put the 318 in your truck or used the horseshoe motor mount. I'm assuming you have a transplanted poly 318 since the stock engine should be a 315 in a 58 PG. Just my 2 cents worth.
