A pair of Mopar Norm's headers & a 4brl intake & carb with a little better cam would be like apples to oranges over stock but if you ever want something really fun, there's a guy named Gary Pavlovich that's been stroking poly motors for years & getting huge torque out of them...almost 500lbs of torque & over 400hp...but it comes with a pretty big price :) Do a google search & you'll see he's the Poly guru.
I think he charges around $7000 for a fully done & dyno'd poly which after stroking is actually a 390-402....but that's likely a little more than you were seeking :) :)
