offroad they are not underpowered at all. but most people it seems do not offroad tem. try on or offroading a stock unimog. the unimog can do things a PW cant but that goes both ways on the steep stuff the unislug just spins its tires with the whopping 2.2 litres of power. I solved the noise problem by getting into open cabs. way less taxing to drive. Ugly but more enjoyable. would be better for you tall guys too. ;/)
