It never crossed my mind about just rotating the bellhousing, because the dowel pins would interfere with doing so. Putting two and two together is like calculating the coordinates of the motion of the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies using paper clips and a stray cat shaped like a pickeloaf sandwich with hair on it, for me. I'll bring a good kerosene/transmission fluid mixture with me tomorrow for the first cylinder soak, and make SURE the starter is off of the truck... I never bothered to check. Thanks!!
