The M37 TS shows a great way to flush a radiator that I also have used for years.

Remove the upper and lower hose and radiator cap. Make a hose adapter that will go on the lower hose connection and then adapt to garden hose and also a fitting for a air line.

You want about 50 psi on the air line. Turn on the water and let the radiator fill. When full and overflowing, give her a 2 second shot of air. Look out the water will come out the radiator cap and tons of crud. And I mean the water will come out, maybe 20 feet in the air. Do this until you have no more crud coming out.

If the radiator is decent, it will never do damage as you dont have a cap on to hold captive pressure. If the radiator does start to leak, well you found it now rather than along the road.
