I sure hope one of us got this camper. It was a unbelievable deal from what I saw in the photos. I visited the factory about 15 years ago and after having popups for many years, I swore an Alaskan would be my next one.

In 2007 I bought a F-350 diesel and ordered a fully outfitted Alaskan and had it shipped to Anchorage. I mounted it in the truck and drove it home. It was a great setup for us and the quality is unmatched in my opinion. But, after a few years, we used it less (grandchild) and my dream truck turned to a Power Wagon after wanting one for many years. We sold the rig to a couple from WA, they flew up here and drove it home. They lived an hour from the factory. We got the price we wanted and they got the rig they'd been looking for even though it was in Alaska.

My advice after owning one: if you find a used one in good shape, buy it. If you can afford a new one (they are pricey) buy it. They are handcrafted, each one is custom built, and the owners are good people.
