Customized 1942 WC-53 4X4 Carryall, 360 V-8, 4 speed NP tranny (maybe 420??, can't tell), original 1 speed transfer case, 5.83 gears, modern radiator runs cool, later non-original gas tank, presently goes 46 mph @ 2800 rpm. Excellent straight sheetmeal all around, beautiful body, better original doors not yet installed, solid frame, flat wood slat roof rack, dual stack exhaust pipes (ugh), white house paint over OD base and thin skimmed Bondo in places. Yacht-like oak trimmed interior designed for camping, school bus front seat is uncomfortable. Very good drum brakes with underbody power vaccum booster, 4 brand new Power King 900-16 M&S tires on combat rims. 12 volt electrics, tach, runs and drives fine, not licensed, clear Colo. title. Comes with uninstalled but complete 9-5/8" PW front axle assembly (to match rear 9-5/8" pumpkin in 8-3/4" rear axle assy) that accepts PW shock absorbers to replace WC lever action shocks, with used PW front shocks and mounts. Comes with these new parts still in boxes for upgrading: one LockRight locker for rear axle and one Helitool disc brake kit for front axle. I suggest you also install 4.89 gears. Best to keep custom, difficult to restore to original. $6,995.00 FOB Denver, Colorado. No pictures yet, will follow. Call Fred at 303-399-8104 or E-mail Powwag@aol.com for further details. Personal inspection highly recommended to see and discuss what you are buying. An excellent Carryall that can be restored to look original but have modern drive train if 4.89 gears are installed.
